Methwold High School is a community school and therefore the Local Education Authority (LEA) is the admissions authority. If there are more requests for places than places available, the LEA will admit children in the order of priority listed on the PDF download below.

Due to government guidelines it is the responsibility of the school to categorise pupils' absences as either authorised or unauthorised. An authorised absence is justifiable whilst an unauthorised is unjustifiable, unacceptable and disapproved of by the school.
